Microsoft, one of the leading manufactures who has for years, continuously blessed us with their diverse versions of their operating system available for both mobile and the personal computer, released one of their most prominent and frankly the best iteration of their mobile platform, its dubbed as the Windows phone 7, in the year 2011. In April 19th of the year 2000, Microsoft first released their mobile operating system which carried the name pocket pc 2000 or Rapier and was complemented by a stylus. In this era, this was a very revolutionary achievement because it allowed individuals to access the features of a personal computer having direct access to their documents on the go in an effective node of control. However, those of you mature folks who are reading this article must have a feeling of nostalgia, albeit, still contemplating in your mind ‘’I can’t believe we used to used pocket pc 2000.” This is understandable, considering the new technological consolidations which time has blessed us with, such as new and more enticing operating systems being emerged i.e. Google’s Android OS, Apples IOS, Nokia’s Symbian and Meego platforms, and the recently introduced Windows phone 7, all of these combined with powerful hardware and horsepower. On a further note, Microsoft has continued to introduce various versions of their mobile operating system each endowed with newer, useful and mitigated features enabling us to maintain our productivity and also not diminishing our entertainment.
Furthermore, since the introduction of the Goggle android OS and the colourful attributes of Nokia’s Symbian platform, Microsoft has been continuously facing competition, and as a result, their sales declined due to a drastically decrease in demand. For this reason being, Microsoft developed new ideas and strategies, allowing them to relinquish the windows mobile platform, and create the newly revamped Windows Phone 7. Windows phone 7 offers a huge curriculum of new features which it’s predecessors was not able to bring to the plate.
These are: The ability to work on a capacitive touch screen bringing fought to a smoother experience and overall accessibility to features. Previous pocket pc’s and Windows mobile phones all contained a resistive screen, which needed to be operated by a stylus to get the best of the phone. Capacitive phones are more user friendly and very responsive because they generate movements by reading the heat emanating from the body part which you are using to control the phone, due to its composition of electrodes. Thus, this provides users of Windows phone 7, to access their features with speed, responsiveness and overall majesty, without the use of a maddening stylus.
Windows pocket pc and Windows mobile in conjunction, were known for their dull user interface, especially as it pertained to media playback. In Windows phone 7 however, things get a little heated up. The user interface is very colourful, playful, well organized, and filled with very sexy and refreshing animations in the shape of tabs. Features can be easily accessed by the simplest movements of the hand. In addition, since Windows Phone 7 is also designed for work, editing documents and other forms of productivity, can be done with the utmost exquisite tastes, relinquishing the existence of boredom.
Window’s Phone 7 offers greater forms of entertainment thanks to the combination with the eminent Microsoft Zune software. I am sure many of you have heard about this. By doing so, Microsoft has offered phones operating their Windows phone 7 software the ability to play high resolution videos, combined with all the enriching capabilities of enjoying music in a very uncompromising and amazingly, truly exquisite way. In addition, the software comes bundled with the Internet Explorer 8, offering features akin to the desktop version. Thus, individuals will be able to visit any website from the comforts of their mobile smartphone, enjoying rich web features allowing you to fully fuel your web bone. However, flash implementation is transparent, mainly due to the fact that the Adobe flash is unsupported.
So, for all the individuals who likes a thrill and wish to embrace the power of the windows phone 7, take a look at the following phones!!

The HD7 akin to the Samsung I8700 Omnia 7, has a massive capacitive touch screen, however the HD7 supersedes the latter by 0.3 inches. Although not a significant difference, 0.3 inches will allow you to see more content on your smart device. So for individuals who loves to stand out and loves kicking it into cyberspace, this is also a treat for you.
Adding to the data, we would just like to allow, you the public to know, that our website http://www.mytechsngadgets.blogspot.com/ does not condone subjectivity. As such, we will display the various limitations of the Windows Phone 7 platform. They are as follows:
v No Bluetooth file transfers
v No USB mass storage mode
v Internet Explorer 8 does not support Adobe flash or Silverlight
v No Multitasking
v No copying and pasting features
v Limited third party applications available, due to the fact that’s a newly developed platform.
v Music Player lacks Equalizer pre-sets
v No system wide file manager
v No handwriting recognition support
v No divx/xvid support- the videos are transcoded into WMV files for accurate playback on the device, thanks to the Zune software. However, since there are many developers working abreast the Windows 7 platform, a descent video player might make its way to the platform in due time.
Please do not the preceding limitations to deter you from purchasing a Windows Phone 7. Always keep in mind that is a relatively new operating system, and as such many new consolidations can make its way to the platform.
